This compelling trio of international musicians was formed at the acclaimed Northern Chords Festival, founded in 2009 by Artistic Director Jonathan Bloxham. It brings together some of the most exciting young musicians from across Europe. They have all been recipients of many prestigious awards and perform regularly as soloists and chamber musicians worldwide.
Their programme includes Schubert’s sublimely beautiful Notturno and Mendelssohn’s dazzling Piano Trio No 2, together with Five Highland Scenes by contemporary composer Matthew Kaner, who has been described as “a composer deftly able to draw the listener into his far-reaching imaginative world”.
