South African Soprano Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha has taken the operatic world by storm. Since coming to prominence as a member of the Royal Opera House’s Jette Parker Young Artist Programme, she has received a rapturous reception from audiences and reviewers alike. Winner of the Song Prize at the Cardiff Singer of the World competition and a current BBC New Generation Artist, she has performed Verdi’s Requiem at the First Night of the Proms and most recently returned to the Royal Opera as Liu in Puccini’s Turandot.
Together with the renowned pianist Simon Lepper, they present a programme that showcases song, opera and song-inspired piano music.
